Attingham Trust courses 2011

Applications are now open for the Attingham Trust’s courses in 2011!

The Attingham Trust, for the study of historic houses and collections, offers a special insight into one of Britain’s greatest contributions to Western art: the country house, together with its collections and landscape setting, as well as the development of the royal palace in England.

Founded in 1952 as The Attingham Summer School Trust and named after the great neoclassical house in Shropshire at which the Summer School was first held, The Attingham Trust has built and sustained an international reputation for academic excellence. This development has been encouraged by the American Friends of the Attingham Trust, established in New York in 1962.

Visit www.attinghamtrust.org for more information. They give full and partial scholarships, and from personal experience, it’s a great course to be on, and fantastic networking opportunity!
