Arabs and the World

It has somehow become normal to associate images of terror, veiled and oppressed women and religious bigotry, whenever we speak of Arabs. Arabs, whether in their homeland or in diasporic communities, are constantly grappling with conflicting realities which completely undermine their culture and identity. Perhaps it is time to break away from stereotypes and start asking questions. And what better way to do it than by asserting one’s own culture.
