In the fourth year now, we have worked with the Trust to strategize on managing the photographic collection. Eka completed the documentation and digitizing of the photographic collections, advising on collections management, including software and storage solutions, and strategies on collections access and outreach. Eka also curated and mounted a photographic exhibition ‘Indira – A life of Courage’, to commemorate the birth centenary of Smt. Indira Gandhi at Swaraj Bhawan, Allahabad. This exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson, IGMT, on the 21st November 2016. The Centennial Celebrations ended in New Delhi with another photographic exhibition that included original artefacts, memorabilia, and photographs and was opened to the public on 19th November 2017 in New Delhi by former President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The exhibition closed on 28th February 2018. Eka curated both the exhibitions.
