It gives us immense pleasure to announce the institution of a written Archive Access Policy for the Pictorial Archives of the Maharanas of Mewar, administered by the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur and located at the City Palace Museum, Udaipur. This is perhaps the first formal Policy in support of research and access to be adopted by any institution in India. Eka has been the Museum Consultant to MMCF since 2008 and this marks an important milestone in the Museum’s development.
