A pioneering cultural institution of Udaipur, the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal preserves and celebrates the folk traditions of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1952, the institution’s mandate is to propagate folk dances, literature and other arts.
The construction of the Juna Mahal Palace was done under Rawal Veer Singh Deo and the palace later replaced the capital of the Dungarpur State. The palace also represents the artistic design, architectural planning and construction techniques of Rajput forts.
The Sanjay & Jayashree Lalbhai Collection is a private collection of historic artifacts. Eka has documented and catalogued this collection of miniature paintings, sculptures and modern and contemporary Indian art.
The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum is located within the City Palace complex, Jaipur and houses a diverse collection of paintings, photographs, artefacts, and arms and armour. The museum is consulting Eka to advice on the photography section of the collection.

Doors to the Silver Gallery titled ‘Splendour of Silver’ have been thrown open at Amar Mahal at Udaipur’s City palace complex by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar on 3rd March 2013. The collection displayed at Amar Mahal represents a cross section of silver artefacts from the royal House of Mewar and the Shri Eklingji Trust.

Initiated over two hundred years ago, the completion of Chowmahalla complex of palaces was an incremental process involving the reigns of several Nizams, the heads of the Asaf Jah family that ruled Hyderabad state. A unique conglomeration of architectural styles and tastes, the collections housed within reflect the eclectic mix of objects including a rich photography collection gathered together by several generations of the Asaf Jahi family.
The Kalakshetra Foundation was set up by Dr. Rukmini Devi Arundale in 1936. The foundation is dedicated towards the revival, preservation and promotion of the arts in India. It is deemed as an institute of national importance by the Government of India and the college runs with aid from the same.
The Sheesh Mahal holds a fine collection of artifacts that vary from costumes and jewellery to paintings, manuscripts, coins, furniture, photographs,crystal, weaponry and a significant collection of more than 3,000 medals from across the world. Eka is assigned to plan a new scenography for the museum, conceive new exhibitions and re-install the hall’s crystal chandeliers.

Eka has been commissioned by the Government of Punjab to create a project proposal for a new museum on the existing site. We are providing inputs on display materials and techniques; presentation; planning the memorial and museum spaces; and outreach in the form of a re-developed research centre and library.
The Museum of Christian Art houses spectacular examples of Christian art in India from the 17th to early 20th centuries. Deepthi Sasidharan was the curator of this Museum during its critical relocation project to its present premises and prepared accession records for the entire collection.Eka is also an advisor to the museum on visitor services.
