Assessments & Reports

Assessments and reports are necessary for museums, institutions and businesses to manage their archival collection. These audits need to be carried out regularly and include a number of quantitative and qualitative studies to ensure the material sanctity, data and content quality and performance metrics of the collection or museum.

These processes and resulting documentation may be required for various reasons such as compliance, risk management, conservation and logistics of archival material – especially for those that hold historical and/or commercial value.

Planning and executing regular audits and compiling and maintaining reports and certifications are a pain point for most management teams and Eka’s involvement ensures that these take place in a timely, precise and impartial way. Eka’s involvement helps museums and legacy collections to safeguard the inherent value in the archive, but also unlock new value by way of efficiency studies, audience response measurement and market research.

Eka’s role in the execution and documentation of assessments and reports extends from identifying and organising archival material to assessing its value and recommending best practices in their management, documentation, conservation and promotion. Our own team, and the external bodies we collaborate with, are well-trained and certified to conduct such assessments.
