The great 16th-century painter Raphael (1483-1520) became one of the most influential Western artists during the last phase of his brief life. But though often celebrated, he has not been honored with a full-scale exhibition focusing on this period. Now the Prado Museum offers “Late Raphael” through Sept. 16, Co-organized with the Louvre Museum, where it will be shown Oct. 8 through Jan. 14, 2013. Read more
