Inside DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi one can see a number of see-saws attached to each other, painted in black and white, with words such as “Kam Wam”, “Pani Wani” and “Chai Shai” written all over. While visitors come, sit on top of them and merrily sway from one end to the other, not many realise that this is actually an interactive artwork. This installation by London-based artist Jeremy Hutchison is part of Publica — an event organised by Delhi-based Floodlight Foundation with an aim to inculcate art awareness and appreciation among those who do not visit galleries and museums often.
