Indian architect Bijoy Jain founded his Mumbai-based practice in the mid-1990s, after a decade of studying and working abroad. But his eponymous firm didn’t come into its own until 2005, after it was renamed Studio Mumbai and transitioned to more of an architectural workshop model, complete with in-house craftsmen and even a stone mason.
