Doors to the Silver Gallery titled ‘Splendour of Silver’ have been thrown open at Amar Mahal at Udaipur’s City palace complex by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar on 3rd March 2013. Initiated over two hundred years ago, the completion of Chowmahalla complex of palaces was an incremental process involving the reigns of several Nizams, the heads of the Asaf Jah family that ruled Hyderabad state. ‘Vastra’ was an exhibition on traditional Bengal textiles from the 17th century to contemporary times. Eka was responsible for selection of works, concepts, curation, exhibition design and display, relevant research, and textual references.
An exhibition of photographs which trace the history of Bhutan’s earliest encounter with photography to the contemporary photographs taken by His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan. Eka was contracted to curate and collate materials for the exhibition, as well as create an accompanying catalogue.
