The construction of the Juna Mahal Palace was done under Rawal Veer Singh Deo and the palace later replaced the capital of the Dungarpur State. The palace also represents the artistic design, architectural planning and construction techniques of Rajput forts. This Palace, which is the oldest Rajput fort in the country dating from the 13th century, was inducted in the 2014 World Monuments Watch List on an application created and submitted by Eka. The scope of our involvement is to create a restoration and preservation master plan and a strategic vision document for this vast royal complex.
